Supervisor Sinicropi read the list of election inspectors approved at the
Communications
Election Commission meeting on July 8,2010.
Board wished Tony Sinicropi a Happy Birthday.
Tomasek-Swan updated the board on the grant for improving the hall for
Unfinished Business
election. It would lock the township into using the building for elections for
the next six years. The estimated cost for the repair on the hall was
approximately $50.00. The grant process idea was dropped by the board
because of the time involved.
Sinicropi read the letter sent to Mr. Lupe Garcia regarding the purchase of
carpet from him that has not been delivered to the township. Carpet was to
be dropped off to the hall on July 5th. Sinicropi will contact Doug Krebiehl
to get an update on the situation.
M-21 property is scheduled for clean up on July 7th. Sinicropi will call the
Health Department to get the updates.
Christina Lorencz is not happy on how the marker for Randy Echicorn was
New Business
placed. Sexton, John Tribfelner moved the marker out of the walkway and
placed it in line with the other monuments. She also wanted the marker raised.
Photos from the previous marker showed it originally was not a raised
marker. If the marker is to be raised, it was suggested the family should
pay for it.
John moved the urns on the Squiers Family due to the fact they were sinking
and tipping. A Squiers' family member was upset but some type of
foundation needs to be in place due to the size of the urns. The urns are
also placed in the walk way area and need to place some where else in the
plot. A letter regarding prices of foundation will be sent.
John suggested the township should consider some guidelines for the
placement of flowers and items in the walkway. He will gather some
guidelines from other cemeteries to present at next month meeting.
P. Dutton made a motion to approve the payment of August bills
due to no August meeting. Stevens seconded the motion.
