Board Members Present: Supervisor Michael Herendeen, Clerk Susan Tomasek-Swan, Treasurer Carolyn Stevens, Trustee Gary Kiger and Trustee Richard Givens Guests Present: Eight guests were present: Jillian Brown, Home Depot representative, Lynn Givens, Sam Sinicropi, Steve Potts, Diane and Mike DowlerjTony Sinicropi And Bob Dennison. Scheduled Comments: Jillian Brown from Home Depot came to answer questions on carpet for the township hall. She reviewed the warranty‘on the'carpet and installation. Public Comments: Opened at 7:37pm Closed at_7:45pm Bob Dennison asked about the weed ordinance in regards to the height of the weeds. The board stated the height was 12 inches. Trustee Rich Givens addressed the situation with a foreclosed home in the township. He is in contact with the attorney and bank that:holds the property deed. He has concerns about the swimming pool located at the property as a breeding ground for mosquitos. Motion to Approve Agenda: Trustee Givens made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Treasurer Stevens seconded the motion. Yes: All Nay: None Carried Motion to Approve Minutes: Treasurer Stevens made a motion to approve the minute from June 12, 2013 meeting. Trustee Givens seconded the motion. Yes: All Nay: None Carried Motion to Approve Bills: Clerk Tomasek-Swan made a motion to approve paying thebills with checks 3366-3379 and 2 EFT in an amount of$ 5,471.71 from General Fund and check 1019\in amount of $23,711.89 from Road Fund. Treasurer Stevens seconded the motion. A ; Yes: All Nay: None Carried Communications: Trustee Gary Kiger, Park and Recreation representative, reported onthe progress of the bathrooms at the youth football field. Carpet- After a discussion on replacing the carpet Trustee Gary Kiger wanted to have another quote. Clerk Tomasek-Swan stated she would get another carpet quote. 2. Treasurer Carolyn Stevens introduced her new deputy treasurer, Lynn Givens. 3. Treasurer Carolyn Stevens made a motion to purchase a laptop for the cemetery record keeping for no more than $800.00. Trustee Gary Kiger seconded the motion. Roll call AYE: Tomasek-Swan, Stevens, Kiger, Givens, Herendeen Nay: None Carried Supervisor Michael Herendeen made a motion for the treasurer and clerk to be able to authorize and/or assign the creating and maintaining the cemetery records as necessary.
