Voice Vote: Ayes: All Nays None Carried Motion To Amend Budget Stevens made a motion to move $17,800 from 101-999-999.204 Transfer to Other Funds to 101-276- 930.00 to the following lines: Cemetery repair/maintenance $10,000.00; 101-276-801.000 Contracted Services $1,000.00; 101-265-930.00 Twp Repair/Maintenance $4,000.00; 101-265-920.00 Twp Utilities $500.00; 101-265-801.00 Contracted Services $2,000.00; 101-101-860.00 Twp Mileage $100.00; 101- 101-727.00 Copier Expense $200.00. Voice Vote: Ayes: All Nays: None Carried Motion to approve Bills Tomasek-Swan made a motion to approve bills from General Funds and Emergency Fund in the amount of $21,223.83 with checks #5592-5611 and Check 1043 and 2 EFTs. Swan seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Supervisor Michael Herendeen, Clerk Susan Tomasek Swan, Treasurer Carolyn Stevens, Trustee Gene Ruess and Trustee Jeff Swan Stevens made a motion to transfer $1000.00 from Emergency funds to General Funds for Emergency Board Salaries. Tomasek-Swan seconded the motion. Voice Vote: Ayes: All Nays: None Carried Communications: MTA- Meeting set for Perry Twp Hall, that was cancelled due to conflicted scheduled. Next meeting is January 2022 at Perry Twp Hall. Library. New Director has been appointed, Connie Thornton. Meeting tomorrow (December 15). OMESA- still discussing what they are going to do with the mileages inclusive/funded to 2023. Townships are discussing when to run an election on it. Building has been paid off in its entirely and working on rebuilding capitol. Would like to pave another portion of the driveway. Clerk- working on year-end items and forms. Sumbera property and legal advice has not been contacted yet. Assessor- Law of Recessing Reform Bill. Making changes to how accessing is done. Not sure what all of them are yet. Assessor has some new information on it. Introduces Resolution 2021-09 Policy for Inspection of Public Assessing Records. Supervisor makes request to change it to 5 business days for info requests to be fulfilled. All of what the assessor does is going to be electric by next year. Not much copying will need to be done with the new electronic system. Part of the new law requires that the studies have to be published on each townships website every year. The cost should be around $300. Tax rate increase will be 3.3%. Business: 1. Park and Recreation: Trustee Swan-There is money sitting in the park and recreations trying to figure out what to do with the money. They would like to use it on the Guemar Park Veteran’s memorial. Parks and recreation board is going to be dissolved. 2. Internet Installation: Daystarr cost Internet and Phone $670 to install and $78 per month. Spectrum cost $28,000 to install to the hall. Swan makes motion to move forward with Daystarr internet installation up to $1,000. Ruess seconded motion. Resolution 2021-09: Tomasek-Swan made a motion to adopt Resolution 2021-09 Policy for Inspection of Public Assessing Records with the amendment of the change from 5 days for info requests to be fulfilled. Board Vacancy Supervisor Herendeen submit board resignation effective December 28, 2021. Swan motions to accept Supervisor Herendeen’s resignation letter effective December 28, 2021. Ruess seconded the motion. Voice Vote: Ayes: All Nays: None Carried Stevens nominates Trustee Swan for appointment to the Supervisor Vacancy effective December 29, 2021.
